7 Best Large Capacity Juicers

The editors of Expertology magazine present you with an overview of the most remarkable models of juicers with much more performance than household ones, but at the same time they will be quite compact and inexpensive.

Rating of the best high capacity juicers

Domestic high-capacity juicers are better than imported ones

Within the framework of this particular topic, our experts received somewhat unusual results. All models included in the review are of Russian or Belarusian production. But these results seem unusual only at first glance.

Domestic juicers often noticeably lose to imported samples in terms of ergonomics, quality of materials, appearance and noise. But it is precisely in terms of performance that they give foreign models a serious head start at a comparable or even significantly lower cost.

Today’s review will focus on domestic or Belarusian trademarks that are not “ashamed” of their origin. Since there are many examples of household appliances from manufacturers with Russian roots and capital, but in every possible way masquerading as imported ones.

The vast majority of imported and pseudo-imported juicers are strictly domestic — they are able to prepare a glass or two of juice in one go, after which the device will need rest and, most likely, a thorough cleaning. Processing raw materials in tens of kilograms per hour, as domestic juicers do with ease, they are not capable in principle. And those that are capable are already considered at least for commercial and almost industrial use. The price of such models is a clear overprice, and therefore we will not consider them.

MEZ Zhuravinka SVSP-303

Rating: 4.9

Let’s start with the most compact and modest juicer in terms of power, which fits into the category of high-performance ones. This is the famous “Zhuravinka”, which is still produced and successfully sold by the Belarusian plant “Elektrodvigatel” (Mogilev).

A similar model was produced back in Soviet times, but its modern version is more powerful — a 160W motor. Estimated capacity for juice output is about 700g per minute. The function of a shredder-grater is not provided here, but given the initially minimal functionality and affordable cost, it can not be considered a disadvantage.

The juicer comes with a 0.5L juice container and a 1L waste container. The small volume of the glass for juice should not confuse anyone, as this model is capable of long-term continuous operation with the processing of tens of kilograms of apples. Actually, this model, like many of this type, is focused specifically on the most efficient production of apple juice, and with other raw materials there will be completely different indicators.

In addition, you need to understand that only hard varieties of apples are suitable for processing into juice, and mashed potatoes will be obtained from soft varieties. On the other hand, this has a positive side — the juicer perfectly grinds potatoes for making potato pancakes.

To eject the cake, a lever with automatic return to its original position is provided. The estimated purity of the juice is 92%, but this figure in practice can vary greatly depending on the nature of the raw material.

A noticeable disadvantage of the model can be considered a narrow receiving hole. This implies the need to cut the apples before loading, which means a significant loss of time and manual effort. Apple tails also need to be removed. Also, this model can not boast of quiet operation.

  • quite compact;
  • long continuous work (pauses are needed mostly only for cleaning);
  • lever for discarding cake;
  • sufficiently high purity of juice;
  • can qualitatively grind potatoes for potato pancakes.

  • quite noisy;
  • you need to cut the fruit because of the narrow loading opening.

Summer resident SVPR-201

Rating: 4.8

Summer resident SVPR-201

Let’s continue with the Russian juicer with the no less cute name “Dachnitsa”, which is produced by the Kursk plant of OJSC “Spektr-Pribor”. Here we immediately make some clarification about the nomenclature. “SVPR-201” is not a series or model, but a type of juicer dictated by GOST. Below will be presented models of completely different manufacturers, but with exactly the same wording. We will not deepen the subtleties of the classification, we will only designate this moment for a complete understanding.

So, here we are dealing with a typical juicer with a “Soviet” design, but in the context of the topic of high productivity, this cannot be considered a disadvantage. The instructions indicate the specialization of the juicer — for apples. And although many use it to obtain large volumes of juice from other raw materials, it must be understood that the extraction efficiency in this case can be greatly reduced and there may even be a potential threat of damage.

The principle of operation of this model is centrifugal. The power of the device is 280W. Here and below, we indicate the power only in terms of power consumption, since it does not say much about performance by itself. But it is precisely the performance here that is estimated at 1 liter of juice per minute. This is a lot and is incomparable with conventional kitchen models, but at the same time, it is not a record. Efficiency is about 50% according to the passport, but it can even vary towards improvement, depending on the nature of the raw material. In fairness, we add that the productivity of 60 liters per hour is still, for the most part, the maximum capacity of this model. More often, the indicators are noticeably lower, but with a guarantee you can get 15 liters of juice in two hours from the Summer Resident, which is also very good.

Compared to the model described above, there is a serious advantage here — there is no need to cut apples with rare exceptions and remove the tails. A sharp and strong stainless steel knife grinds such “little things” into dust.

The weight of the juicer is quite decent — 10.5 kg. Dimensions — 38.5x38.5x44cm. The design is quite stable due to rubberized legs and considerable weight.

  • relatively compact;
  • ease of operation;
  • efficiency;
  • all-metal stainless steel filter;
  • stainless steel knife;
  • stability and minimal vibration (there are isolated exceptions in reviews);
  • no need to cut apples and remove ponytails.

  • faulty purity of juice;
  • complaints about the non-removable filter, which is inconvenient to clean.

Rossoshanka SVPR-201

Rating: 4.7

Another model of Belarusian production. Rossoshanka was also developed in accordance with GOST and its type is clearly indicated in the name — SVPR-201. However, this does not make it an exact copy of either the previous model or the next one on the list, because despite all the standards, their characteristics differ quite significantly.

This model is also focused on the production of apple juice in large volumes. The power of the device is 200W and, in combination with other characteristics, this gives a productivity of up to 70kg of apples per hour. The output efficiency is about 50%. Of course, these are benchmarks for the ideally “correct” raw material — hard apples.

The principle of operation of the juicer is centrifugal. It is relatively compact — about 400x300mm, has a symmetrical design, weighs 13kg. Symmetry here is not a design factor, but is done for reasons of stability when working. Design is perhaps the weakest point of this model, however, other options in the review are not far gone.

This model is designed on the meringue of the almost legendary domestic Salyut juicer, but with some changes. A clear disadvantage here is the absence of even a mechanical manual ejection of the cake, not to mention automatic. But there are plenty of benefits too. It has a strong stable construction, long continuous run time, overall long service life, hassle-free processing of pitted sliced apples, and even a convenient dynamic motor stop function.

  • compact;
  • increased power;
  • symmetrical stable design;
  • juice yield efficiency;
  • dynamic brake of the electric motor.

  • there are no devices for convenient ejection of the cake, it must be selected manually;
  • quite unsightly appearance.

Penzmash SVPR-201 Salyut

Rating: 4.7

Penzmash SVPR-201 Salyut

Now let’s look at the predecessor of Rossoshka, the Salyut juicer, well-known in the CIS, manufactured by the Penzmash plant. This is a widespread country option, and it is recommended to operate it precisely in the conditions of wide spaces of a suburban area. Despite the relatively tolerable appearance, this model is too noisy and vibrating for a city apartment.

The engine power of this model is twice as high as that of the previous one — 400W. The productivity is comparable and even in some places more than 70 kg of apples per hour. The purity of juice with optimal raw materials reaches 92%. Processing efficiency in terms of cake volume is about 50%.

The loading opening of this model is wide enough so that medium-sized fruits pass without problems. Nevertheless, judging by the test results and the opinions of many users, it is advisable to at least cut the apples in half before loading, and also load them on different sides in turn. In this way, you can get increased efficiency and minimize vibration and sway, which in this model, along with noise, are a noticeable drawback.

“Salut”, like many other high-performance juicers of this type, is ideally “compatible” with hard varieties of apples and other fruits. Soft varieties, and especially tomatoes, are definitely not for her, and for such raw materials a different model will definitely be needed.

  • high quality of extraction for a juicer of this class;
  • cutting and pitting are not needed;
  • enough dry cake;
  • dynamic braking mode.

  • manual removal of cake;
  • noise and vibration.

BelOMO “Garden”

Rating: 4.6

Another example of solid Belarusian household appliances. Actually, “Sadovaya” is a popular name that has naturally attached itself to BelOMO juicers. Here we are already seeing some additional useful features, in addition to spin alone.

But first of all, about the appearance. Of course, this is not an example of high aesthetics, but there is still at least some design here, so the juicer is unlikely to spoil the interior of the kitchen. Its dimensions are quite “desktop” — 391x252x302mm, and the weight is much less than that of all of the above — about 6kg.

As regards the quality factor of materials, the Belarusian manufacturer should be praised. Not saved on anything really important — an aluminum centrifuge with thick walls, a stainless steel grater disk of great thickness, an asynchronous electric motor is generally practically indestructible.

Now to the main thing. The performance of this model is comparable to the previous ones — within an hour, the juicer is able to process tens of kilograms of apples with an output of up to 10 liters of juice. The softer the varieties, the more moist the cake will be, and the less juice will be released, but this is obvious. It is important that, unlike many similar models, “Sadovaya” is able to process even tomatoes to obtain really tomato juice of a consistency that is well known to us. But here you have to come to terms with significant losses of raw materials, so it makes sense to produce tomato juice for occasional use, and not for serious harvesting.

The lack of automatic ejection of the cake looks like a disadvantage, although especially prudent owners see this as an advantage — you can squeeze the cake to the last drop, and then remove the cake by pulling on a special lever.

  • tolerable appearance;
  • solid and reliable materials;
  • durability;
  • can process even tomatoes (with serious reservations);
  • shredding function.

  • no automatic pulp ejection.

Axion SC 32.02 Juice

Rating: 4.5

Axion SC 32.02 Juice

Now let’s look at another interesting model, which is in many ways similar to the Belarusian Zhuravinka even outwardly. But there are still fundamental differences. The manufacturer is the Aksion plant of the same name, Izhevsk.

Let’s start with the main difference, it is also the advantage of this model. In addition to the production of juice, the unit is also capable of chopping vegetables, quickly cutting fruits and vegetables into slices. The method here is simple — the package comes with several different nozzles that are easy to change.

The dimensions of the juicer are 23×29×25cm when assembled and 32×32×24.5cm with packaging. Own weight — ‎4.62kg, together with packaging — 5.6kg. The case provides space for compact storage of the electric cord. Cord length — 1.5m.

The power of the juicer motor is 250W. The juice output capacity here is much lower than that of the models described above — in terms of “reference” raw materials, that is, hard varieties of apples, processing up to 30 kg of apples per hour will be obtained. With the attachment for chopping, productivity will, of course, increase, moreover, twice — up to 60 kg of apples per hour. With the slicing attachment, the performance will be almost the same — up to 57 kg per hour. By the way, if you are sure that you will definitely not need additional nozzles, you can look at the basic model STs 32.01, which will be cheaper.

Both versions of the juicer have a built-in pulp removal mechanism without the need to stop work. But you need to carefully monitor the condition and really remove the cake in time, otherwise excess pulp will begin to get into the juice, additional vibration will appear.

The natural disadvantage of this model is high noise, but it is also quite expected, which is easy to put up with, because you actually have to use the juicer only in the season, and then often not in the apartment. A more tangible drawback is that the cake exit hole is often clogged.

  • almost unlimited time of continuous work;
  • rather wide receiving neck;
  • strong and sharp steel knives;
  • additional nozzles;
  • compartment for power cord;
  • 24 months warranty.

  • noise;
  • the pulp outlet is often clogged.

Neptune KAGI.332215.001

Rating: 4.5

NEPTUNE KAJI.332215.001

And our review will be completed by the most impressive domestic juicer. In terms of performance, it leaves all of the above described far behind, and still has some other advantages. Producer — plant “Neptune”, Stavropol.

So, the main thing in this model is performance. The juicer is capable of processing up to 120 kg of apples per hour with a juice output of up to 60 liters. If the raw material is close to flawlessness in terms of the combination of hardness and juiciness, then the juicer will be able to process in an hour or more — up to 180 kg of apples with an output, respectively, of up to 90 liters of juice.

Simple arithmetic suggests that the efficiency is about 50%, like most other domestic and Belarusian juicers of this class. In fact, this is the main drawback of the model. Real efficiency is often lower, sometimes significantly. That is, once again — the performance is outrageous, but mediocre efficiency, and wet cake is the norm rather than the exception here.

Another delicate point — the car is certainly not for a city apartment. The roar of the engine and moving parts can somehow be transferred only in open space, in extreme cases in a private house without neighbors behind the wall.

As for the materials, everything here corresponds to the ideas of the notorious conversion — the unit is made to last. Reliable, indestructible 320W motor is able to work continuously for an hour. The case is unprepossessing, but is made of solid strong plastic. The details, although rough and completely devoid of aesthetics, are carefully fitted. Assembly and disassembly are quick and error-free. But you need to carefully monitor that the unit does not remain connected to the outlet during disassembly, since protection against accidental switching on is not provided here.

Finally, we emphasize that this model, unlike the previous one, still requires periodic rest. The optimal scheme: one hour of continuous work, followed by a 10-minute break. A nice bonus is the automatic removal of the cake into a separate special container. This gives additional productivity benefits, since there is no need to waste time manually picking the pulp.

  • powerful and durable engine;
  • record performance;
  • long time of continuous work;
  • automatic removal of cake.

  • exorbitant noise;
  • mediocre efficiency (wet cake).
