Along with the iPad Pro, Apple has released an all-new iPad with fairly narrow bezels. Now this model is similar to the iPad Air.
The display is 10.9 inches, Liquid Retina, with a resolution of 2360 × 1640 pixels, brightness up to 500 nits and True Tone technology. The Touch ID fingerprint scanner has been moved to the top of the case.
The tablet received a powerful A14 Bionic processor, providing a 20% increase in CPU performance and a 10% improvement in graphics (compared to the previous generation). According to Apple, this iPad is 5 times faster than the best-selling Android tablet.
The 12MP 122º front camera is located on the side bezel for the first time when holding the tablet in portrait orientation. The advanced 12MP rear camera lets you shoot 4K slow-motion video at 240 fps.
Also among the advantages: dual microphones, improved stereo speakers, support for Wi-Fi 6, 5G and a USB-C connector for recharging, data transfer and connecting accessories.
The new iPad is available to order from October 18th and will be on sale from October 26th. Wi-Fi models start at $449 and Wi-Fi + Cellular start at $599. The tablet will be released in blue, pink, yellow and silver colors.
It will be paired with the new Magic Keyboard Folio with 1mm key travel and a gesture-enabled touchpad. The accessory will cost from $249.
Also, the tablet is compatible with Apple Pencil, but only with the first generation. And to charge it, you will have to buy a special adapter from USB-C to Lightning for $ 9. For some reason, the second generation stylus is not supported.
