During the IFA 2022 exhibition, the French company OFF Global, which owns the license to use the Nokia brand, showed three new laptops: PureBook Lite, PureBook Pro and PureBook Fold transformer. Prices for the devices have not yet been disclosed, but it is known that sales will begin this month.
Nokia PureBook Lite and PureBook Fold
Nokia PureBook Lite and PureBook Fold feature 14.1-inch FullHD IPS displays with 60Hz refresh rate. Both laptops are equipped with an Intel Pentium Silver N6000 chip with four cores operating at a frequency of 1.1 to 3.3 GHz.
In addition, the laptops combine the same amount of RAM (8 GB) and storage (128 GB), the presence of a microSD slot, the same webcam resolution (1 MP), two USB-C 3.2 ports, a USB-A 3.0 port and 3.5 -mm headphone jack. Both boast good battery life for the budget segment – up to 8 hours.
The main difference between the Nokia PureBook Fold is the ability to open the lid 360 degrees and use the device as a tablet. Of course, the device supports touch control. The transformer is not much heavier and thicker than the classic PureBook Lite: 1.66 kg and 18.6 mm versus 1.47 kg and 17.7 mm.
Nokia PureBook Pro
The older model of the Nokia laptop line was released in two versions: with a screen diagonal of 15.6 and 17.3 inches. These are exactly the same displays as the younger models: IPS-matrix, FullHD resolution, 60 Hz refresh rate. The laptop received an Intel Core i3-1220P chip with 8 GB of RAM and a 512 GB drive, expandable using microSD cards.
The device is equipped with Wi-Fi 5 and Bluetooth 5 wireless adapters, a fingerprint scanner, a 2-megapixel webcam and a backlit keyboard. There are two USB-C 3.2 ports, a USB-A 3.0 port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. It also supports 65W fast charging. The thickness and weight of the device depending on the diagonal of the screen: 19 mm and 2 kg versus 19.6 mm and 2.5 kg.
