Carl Pei’s startup Nothing has officially unveiled the Ear Stick wireless headphones. Unlike the Ear model (1), they do not have active noise cancellation and silicone tips – they are mere “droplets” to compete with basic AirPods.
The charging case is also unusual, with a transparent surface, but a cylindrical shape. To open it, you need to crank it like lipstick.
The manufacturer promises a bright and deep sound with clear high frequencies, minimal distortion and details that are perfectly balanced at any frequency. 12.6 mm dynamic drivers and Smart algorithms are responsible for this, automatically adjusting the equalizer.
The Ear Sticks offer 7 hours of music playback and up to 29 hours of battery life from the case. The case supports fast charging, but wireless does not. The headphones weigh 4.4 grams. IP54 dust and sweat resistant.
The price of Nothing Ear Stick is only $99 (≈6,200 rubles). Sales start in November.
