Clean­ing is car­ried out with­in half an hour. Water is first poured into a spe­cial­ly pro­vid­ed round recess at the bot­tom of the oven, in some cas­es gel is also added to it to cre­ate steam. When the oven heats up, the water evap­o­rates and acts on the fat­ty deposits on the inner walls. So, they soft­en and enter the pan.

The inter­nal sur­faces of ovens from dif­fer­ent com­pa­nies do not dif­fer in the qual­i­ty of clean­ing, but some of them may have a grease fil­ter. It is designed for reusable use — some­times its life can last the entire peri­od of oper­a­tion of the oven. Once every 100 clean­ing appli­ca­tions, it should be washed under run­ning water or in a dish­wash­er, but all dish­es and food debris must be removed from it, oth­er­wise they will clog into the fil­ter and it will stop work­ing.

Cons of the method:

  • The enam­el on the inner sur­faces of the cab­i­net los­es its prop­er­ties after four or five years, and the pan­els with it have to be changed. Know­ing this, you need to choose mod­els of ovens with dou­ble-sided pan­els — when the enam­el is worn on one side, they can be rearranged.

With it, all fat­ty con­t­a­m­i­nants are burned, which become ash­es and set­tle at the bot­tom of the oven. They are eas­i­ly removed with a reg­u­lar kitchen nap­kin.

Pyrolyt­ic clean­ing is car­ried out at high tem­per­a­tures, up to 500 °C. So, for safe­ty rea­sons, in mod­els with such a sys­tem, an auto-lock is pro­vid­ed in the doors, which opens the cab­i­net door only after the oven has cooled down to 200 ° C. In some mod­els, this clean­ing can take place at a tem­per­a­ture of 300 ° C, since they have a mul­ti-lev­el sys­tem. With small pol­lu­tion in this case, a gen­tle mode is used.

Pyrolytic oven cleaning

Pyrol­y­sis is car­ried out with a high con­sump­tion of elec­tric­i­ty, so the oven with it requires a pow­er cable that can with­stand up to 6 kW.

Advan­tages of pyrol­y­sis:

  • There is no need to con­stant­ly emp­ty the oven from trays and grates before clean­ing.
  • Ovens with such a sys­tem are made of high qual­i­ty steel.
