11 best mini ovens — Rating 2022

Rommelsbacher BG 1805

Often modern kitchen appliances have a faceless appearance. But there are also exceptions to the rule. For example, Rommelsbacher BG 1805/E will definitely decorate the interior of any room. When you look at this device, you can even guess the notes of “retro”, something like this devices looked like a few decades ago. In order to achieve this effect, the manufacturer abandoned the display and touch panel. And this is very good, since even an elderly person can deal with a device on the dashboard of which the usual switches are located.

In Russian stores, this model is sold for 17–18 thousand rubles. For this money, you will receive a high-quality device made in China and with a one-year warranty. The mini-oven has at its disposal a chamber, the volume of which reaches 42 liters. It seems that this is enough even for an ardent lover of bread baking.

Despite the presence of mechanical control here, the device provides as many as seven oven modes. He is also able to boast of convection, thanks to which the heat equally envelops the cooking dish from all sides. Isn’t this the recipe for the perfect bake? If we talk about other modes, then Rommelsbacher BG 1805 / E has a keep warm function, which is useful in cases where you do not have enough time to immediately taste the cooked dish. Not to mention the “grill” mode. It activates a heating element with a power of 1800 watts. It is thanks to him that the mini-oven is able to replace even a very expensive microwave oven.

The maximum temperature inside the chamber used here can reach 230°C. Light two-layer glass and well-implemented lighting allow you to monitor the cooking process. However, you can safely leave the kitchen, going about your business, as the mini-oven has an audible signal that the dish is ready.

Advantages

  • Easy to learn mechanical control;
  • It is completed with deep and flat baking sheets;
  • There is a good skewer;
  • Decent camera volume;
  • The coating inside is enamelled;
  • The case was created from stainless steel;
  • The power cord cannot be called short;
  • Built-in grill;
  • A large number of operating modes.

Flaws

  • There is no thermometer inside;
  • The price won’t suit everyone.

Steba G 80/31

Rating: 4.8

Steba G 80

Another device that sells for 20–22 thousand rubles. And he is also able to boast a capacity of 1800 hp. Only one color version with a white body went on sale. It has a chamber, the volume of which reaches 29 liters. It seems that this is enough both at home and somewhere in the country. The temperature in this chamber can reach up to 250°C. The only pity is that you have to take the manufacturer’s word for it, because he did not endow his creation with a thermometer. However, in recent years, neither mini-ovens nor electric ovens have received it.

The creators of the Steba G 80/31 decided to abandon the touch buttons. Instead, the choice of modes is carried out by turning mechanical switches. The lack of automatic programs can be confusing at first. But in the future, you will learn exactly what settings to set for the preparation of a particular dish. By the way, the process of getting used to would be faster if the manufacturer Russified the roller, located under the aforementioned switches. It shows the recommended settings for pizza and other popular dishes. But, as you may have guessed, the names of the dishes are not in Russian at all. And not even in English! This is where German names come in handy! Because of this, the roller seems completely useless.

This mini-oven is endowed with the possibility of defrosting food. A grill is also available here. All this allows you to refuse to buy a microwave, after the appearance of a mini-oven in the kitchen, it will be unnecessary. Since there is a grill here, the spit is not forgotten. Cooking time can reach 120 minutes — this is the maximum value of the timer present here. Also, the device has a built-in camera lighting, thanks to which you can observe the cooking process.

Perhaps the Germans have a decent product that is definitely worth the money. If you conditionally combine all the settings, then it turns out that this mini-oven offers 23 programs. The buyer can only complain about the lack of a loud sound signal that would tell the owner that the cooking is over.

Advantages

  • High reliability;
  • There is a grill and a spit;
  • A large number of programs;
  • Easy to learn controls;
  • Under the top cover is an external grille;
  • High power;
  • Good capacity;
  • There is a camera light.

Flaws

  • There is no loud signal for the end of cooking;
  • The dishes on the hint roller are in German;
  • The cost will not suit everyone.

Gemlux GL-OR-1538LUX

Rating: 4.7

Gemlux GL-OR-1538LUX

This mini oven has a slightly more modern design. But its creators also abandoned touch control, which is not for the soul of all consumers. Rotary switches are also introduced here, but already much smaller. Well, instead of a scale, a digital display is used here, which is endowed with each regulator. The numbers on such a screen are clearly visible even in the dark. It is curious that there is a similar display at the bottom of the control panel, here it displays the icon of the selected operating mode.

When you see this device in the store, you will be amazed at its size. Yes, it’s incredibly big. But inside it there is already a 38-liter chamber! In such a mini-oven, you can cook a huge amount of meat. Do not hesitate, it will be enough for all relatives and friends who come to your country house.

However, most often the choice in favor of this model is not made because of its spaciousness. People like the price tag, not exceeding 11 thousand rubles. After looking at the price tag, the consumer no longer cares about the slightly crooked lighting of the camera — only one light bulb has been introduced here, the power of which is frankly rather weak.

The low cost has almost no effect on the functionality of the device. The device boasts nine oven modes, thanks to which you can cook almost any dish. Even convection is not forgotten here. Therefore, the food will be baked as evenly as possible on all sides. The power of the device is 1800 watts. Despite the affordable price tag, the mini-oven is able to boast a grill. Yes, and quartz, which is more energy efficient! The maximum temperature inside the chamber of this device can reach 230 ° C, more is often not needed.

As with most other mini ovens, double-layer glass is used here. The door opens down, thanks to which the chamber cools quickly enough. The device also includes a replaceable crumb tray and rubberized legs.

Frankly, it is extremely difficult to find fault with this model. It is not surprising that the device is in demand — now it is one of the best-selling mini-ovens in Russia. You can scold the manufacturer only for the lack of a shutdown button. Also, one of the buyers encountered a breakdown of the spit — it stopped spinning.

Advantages

  • Very roomy chamber;
  • Convenient electronic-mechanical control;
  • A large number of oven modes;
  • There is a quartz grill;
  • High power;
  • A loud beep is used;
  • Low cost.

Flaws

  • Not maximum reliability;
  • The backlight is not implemented in the best way;
  • The length of the power cord is only 0.8 m.

REDMOND SkyOven 5706S

Rating: 4.6

REDMOND SkyOven 5706S

Another mini-oven in our selection, which has a modern look. And it’s even more affordable! If the models discussed above had a case made of stainless steel, then ordinary metal was used to create it. This means that the device will last for several years, but not decades. The body is painted black, here it is complemented by touch buttons and a very bright display.

Despite the low cost, the mini-oven boasts a wireless module. It allows you to control the device from your smartphone. Or at least receive notifications about the readiness of the dish on it.

Of course, a cheap mini-oven cannot have maximum power. Here this parameter is 1500 watts. But the manufacturer did not save on the number of programs. In total, the user is provided with 21 operating modes. Therefore, by means of this mini-oven you can cook absolutely any dishes. Even those that require a grill, since it is also present here!

The temperature inside the chamber reaches 230°C. The choice of temperature and cooking time is carried out, as already mentioned, using the touch keys. I am glad that the list of programs located on the dashboard is Russified. You can also note the bright backlight, thanks to which you can notice in time that the dish has already been cooked. You can also rely on the timer, which, upon completion, will not only turn off the device, but also give out an audible signal. By the way, you can turn it off. This is important, because cooking can be carried out at the moment when someone is sleeping at home.

This model is definitely worth the money spent on it. Complete with it you will receive a metal grate, a deep baking sheet and a handle for removing it. And in the box you will find a round baking dish. As for the shortcomings of the device, many of them are easy to guess from the price tag. The creators of REDMOND SkyOven 5706S saved on the door, it most likely has only one glass. Even more upsetting is the volume of the chamber, which is only 20 liters. In this regard, a mini-oven can be compared to a microwave. If you want to regularly cook a turkey carcass, then it is better to consider buying a larger model.

Advantages

  • Smartphone control available;
  • Fine appearance;
  • Extended warranty period up to two years;
  • Extremely high power;
  • A large number of programs;
  • There is a sound signal;
  • There is a grill;
  • Very low cost.

Flaws

  • Touch control will not appeal to everyone;
  • Not a very roomy chamber;
  • Service life is unlikely to be long.

Simfer M4579

Rating: 4.5

Simfer M4579

One of the most capacious representatives of our rating. The volume of the chamber used here is 45 liters! At the same time, this mini-oven cannot be called particularly powerful. The device can bring the temperature inside up to 250 ° C, but the 1400 W electric motor does this for a long time.

This model is ideal for those people who like to cook whole bird carcasses in the oven. Despite the very large size, the device is estimated at only 12 thousand rubles. This is due to the already mentioned low power. Another simplification lies in the relatively small number of automatic cooking modes. And certainly you should not expect remote control from this mini-oven.

The case of this model is made of stainless steel. Most of it is painted black. The controls and knob are bronzed. As the first, simple rotary controls are used here. It seems that this will allow even an elderly person to deal with management. Another device received a well-implemented halogen lighting, thanks to which you can observe the degree of cooking.

Otherwise, the Simfer M4579 mini-oven is similar to the competitors discussed above. There is also a grill here. It can be used in conjunction with convection, which evenly distributes heat throughout the chamber. And the product also received a high-quality door, which included double glass. Two baking sheets are supplied with the appliance (one of them is not only deep, but also has a non-stick coating). You should also look for a chrome grille in the box.

Advantages

  • Very strong heating is possible;
  • Nice double glass door
  • Huge capacity;
  • Good lighting;
  • Loud acoustic signal;
  • Simple mechanical control;
  • Decent equipment;
  • Not very high cost.

Flaws

  • Not very high power;
  • Timer — no more than 90 minutes.

Moulinex Optimo OX444832

Rating: 4.5

Moulinex Optimo OX444832

One of the strangest devices in our review. Half of consumers will be delighted with such a mini-oven, while the other half will still not appreciate its appearance. The case of this model is made of stainless steel. But at the same time, such a design is used here that from a distance it may seem that the device is made of plastic. In fact, of course, plastic would simply not withstand high temperatures.

Like many other inexpensive mini ovens, Moulinex Optimo OX444832 uses mechanical control. Three familiar controls are installed on its dashboard. The lowest of them is the timer, it allows you to set the cooking time up to 120 minutes. As for the temperature inside the chamber, it can be brought up to 240°C. Of course, it is quite difficult to withstand such heat, so the door installed here is equipped with double-layer glass. The only pity is that the warm-up takes a very long time. This is due to the power of the device, not exceeding 1380 watts. Electricity is taken from the nearest outlet, which is connected to a 94 cm cord.

This mini oven has a medium capacity. A huge turkey cannot be placed here, but the rest of the bird species should still fit. However, this device is not the best suited for cooking poultry. It is usually grilled, and its power here is reduced to 740 watts. Therefore, it is better to use this mini-oven to create all kinds of pastries. You can also make homemade yogurt here.

The warranty period for Moulinex Optimo OX444832 is two years. But there is no doubt that the device will last much longer. However, one day you will definitely want to replace it. The fact is that they saved a lot on the production of this mini-oven. For example, this is noticeable by the strong heating of the device case. Moulinex did not introduce intelligent thermal insulation here. Also, the device suffers from erasing the signatures of all three regulators — they are most afraid of lemon and apple juice. Well, we have already mentioned other shortcomings.

Advantages

  • Loud beep;
  • Very low cost;
  • Simple mechanical control;
  • A decent number of modes of operation;
  • There is a grill (type — heater);
  • Quality door;
  • Very light weight.

Flaws

  • Signatures at the adjustment knobs are gradually erased;
  • Gets very hot;
  • There is no thermal sensor;
  • Not everyone will like the design;
  • Power is very low, especially at the grill.

Steba KB 27 U.3

Rating: 4.4

Steba KB 27 U.3

Most often, mini-ovens receive mechanical control. Probably, by doing so, their manufacturers want to make appliances as similar as possible to traditional ovens, which are complemented by gas stoves. The same control is used in the next representative of our rating, called Steba KB 27 U.3. On the dashboard of this mini-oven there are three rotary controls, which even an elderly person who is not familiar with modern technology can master.

The body of this device is made of stainless steel. Almost all of it is painted black. There is a removable crumb tray inside the appliance. This is important, because crumbs are a common thing when creating baked goods. However, almost all representatives of our review are equipped with a similar pallet. As well as double-layer glass, which was included in the door installed here. By the way, if you look inside, you can see the enamel coating. This means that the chamber of the mini-oven is cleaned without any problems. And it is definitely not afraid of the simplest cleaning products, you definitely will not achieve scratches.

In Russian stores for Steba KB 27 U.3 they ask for about 7 thousand rubles. Based on this, we can expect that this is far from the most powerful mini-oven. Indeed, inside it is a 1.5 kW electric motor. However, even this is enough to quickly heat the air inside the chamber to a temperature of 230°C. You will see how pastries or meat are gradually covered with an appetizing crust. There are no problems with observing this, since high-quality backlighting is implemented inside.

As you already understood, there is a full-fledged grill with an electromechanical spit here. It is based on the TEN. I would like to see a more reliable and easily cleaned quartz here instead, but this is not the right price segment. Grill power is the same 1500 watts.

As for the oven, it has only three modes of operation. One of them uses convection. It pleases, because with it the dish warms up evenly from all sides.

Perhaps the main drawback of the Steba KB 27 U.3 is the short timer. It is limited to just one hour. It turns out that complex dishes will be prepared in two stages. It’s not very convenient. With a mini-oven, I would like to start a timer once, and then go about my business.

Complete with the product you will receive a metal grill, a skewer and a flat baking sheet. Alas, but this equipment is almost exhausted. If you need a deep baking sheet, you will have to buy it separately. But on the other hand, this model has at its disposal a long power cord.

Advantages

  • The length of the power cord reaches 1.4 m;
  • Low cost;
  • Nice double glass door
  • Simple mechanical control;
  • There is an indication of the set temperature;
  • There is a sound signal;
  • There is a grill;
  • Long power cord;
  • Relatively light weight.

Flaws

  • Timer — only up to 60 minutes;
  • A deep baking sheet would not hurt;
  • Some specimens do not heat up to the declared 230 ° C.

Kitfort KT-1703

Rating: 4.3

Kitfort KT-1703

An interesting specimen that combines a mini-oven and a small electric stove. On its top wall there are two electric “pancakes”, on which you can cook, say, scrambled eggs with bacon or some more complex dish. Such a mini-oven is an ideal choice for installation in the country, where there has not yet been a gas or electric stove. Surprisingly, the advanced functionality did not affect the price tag. But the cost, which is approximately 6 thousand rubles, allows us to understand that the manufacturer definitely saved on something.

However, if the creators of the Kitfort KT-1703 saved money, then this becomes clear only after a long use of this model and in direct comparison with more expensive competitors. At first glance, the device is in no way inferior to the mini-furnaces discussed above, but in some ways it surpasses them. For example, the creators managed to increase the power to 1600 watts without any special expenses. This makes the heating of the temperature inside very fast. The maximum, by the way, reaches 230 ° C, which is enough for cooking almost any pastry.

This appliance can be used in grill mode. At the same time, almost any bird will fit in his chamber, not to mention pieces of meat. The volume of the oven here is 30 liters. This is not a record, but you have already noticed that other inexpensive mini-ovens cannot even boast of such a figure.

Above we talked about the high power of the product. However, this applies only to the oven and grill, which uses a heating element. If we talk about electric burners, then their power is 750 and 1000 W (one is slightly larger in size than the other). Somewhere in the country, this will be enough.

Camera lighting, spit, metal grill, deep baking sheet, handle for removing it — the device has all this in full. And he also knows how to signal the sound of the end of the work. Its duration, by the way, can reach 120 minutes — this is how much you can start the timer available here. Management in Kitfort KT-1703 is implemented in the usual mechanical way, thanks to which even an elderly person who finds it difficult to deal with modern technology can use the mini-oven.

The product also has a number of disadvantages. The manufacturer did not endow his creation with a sufficient amount of thermal insulation, which is why the body of the mini-oven heats up quite strongly. Also, not everyone will be satisfied with a power cord, the length of which is less than a meter.

We warn you: the oven and burners must not be used at the same time, otherwise you risk burning the components contained inside the appliance, and this will not be recognized as a warranty case.

Advantages

  • Very low cost;
  • Easy to learn controls;
  • Rich equipment;
  • There is a grill;
  • The mini-oven is supplemented with two burners;
  • There is a sound signal;
  • Big power;
  • Great capacity.

Flaws

  • The case gets very hot;
  • Short power cord;
  • The power of the burners cannot be called large.

REDMOND SkyOven 5717S

Rating: 4.2

REDMOND SkyOven 5717S

Another mini-oven from REDMOND that supports smartphone control. Many sites even refer to this device as a smart oven. Well, the device itself is not distinguished by any intelligence and ingenuity, but the corresponding application really greatly facilitates the process of preparing certain dishes. It has numerous recipes, thanks to which you can significantly diversify your diet. The program can set such operating modes that cannot be achieved by pressing the touch keys located on the dashboard.

Almost all REDMOND mini-ovens are made in the same style. They have a stainless steel body, which houses a bright display and several touch buttons. SkyOven 5717S is no exception to the rule. Connection with a smartphone is via Bluetooth 4.0. The app can be installed on both Android and iOS.

The device turned out to be quite small. Its oven has only a 20-liter volume, which will definitely upset someone. Inside there are two heating elements — top and bottom. You can use either one of them, or both at the same time. In total, the product offers 21 operating modes, and this is without taking into account the automatic recipes available in the application.

This device differs from the rest of the representatives of our rating in the absence of convection. It is sad. At the same time, the device is not able to boast of a lower cost. Is it worth changing convection for remote control and increasing the maximum cooking time to ten hours? It’s up to you to decide. The official website also says that there is no grill. But this, apparently, is not true. Otherwise, why then is a metal grill found in the box with the mini-oven? The local grill does not support the use of a skewer — this is already true.

The temperature inside the chamber can reach 230°C. When the cooking process is over, the mini-oven will not only send a notification, but also give a sound signal. The connection to the mains is carried out by means of a standard meter power cord.

The REDMOND SkyOven 5717S comes with a baking sheet, a wire rack, a handle for removing them, a crumb tray and various paper documentation. The warranty period is one year, in this respect the device has no advantage over its competitors.

Advantages

  • Remote control available;
  • There is a sound signal;
  • A large number of operating modes;
  • Well-implemented lighting;
  • The cost cannot be called exorbitant;
  • Decent equipment;
  • Fits in any kitchen.

  • Touch control will not suit everyone;

You might think that all mini-ovens are quite expensive. Definitely more expensive than most microwaves. But it’s not. Scarlett SC-EO93O19 can be purchased for only 4500 rubles! However, do not think that for this money you will buy some tiny model, in which even a pizza cannot be placed. No, this is a full-fledged mini-oven, the volume of the oven chamber of which is an impressive 42 liters. What then saved its manufacturer?

The first thing anyone will complain about is the design. Indeed, they definitely did not invest in its elaboration. The device looks somehow faceless. Even the operation indicator here is made in the form of a conventional round LED. Well, mechanical regulators are covered with silver overlays, which will soon stop shining. Management here is implemented in a standard way — you choose the operating mode, temperature and cooking time. Maximum available 250°C and 120 minutes. There is no doubt that heating to the temperature indicated above will really happen, because the power of the device is 1600 W!

Despite the low cost, the product received a grill function. However, you will have to do without a spit — only a grill can be placed inside the device. Also, there is no convection here, so the sides of the dish can be baked a little less than the bottom and top. The manufacturer also saved on the backlight of the camera, it is simply not here.

Well, it is better not to get lighting inside the mini-oven, but to have a heat-insulated body. No, even with it, the device heats up a little. But the temperature of its case is still less than that of other budget devices of this kind. Therefore, the creators of this device need only be praised.

And what else did the manufacturer of this device save on? Oddly enough, on a network cord. Its length is approximately 55 cm. The problem is solved by bringing the extension cord directly to the mini-oven, so you should not worry. It has a device and another drawback, which has nothing to do with savings. The glass of the door used here has an advertising sticker. It is applied in such a way that it can be completely removed only with the use of special means. As written in one of the reviews, after this I want to put the same sticker on the forehead of the one who came up with it.

Advantages

  • Very low cost;
  • High power;
  • Good chamber volume;
  • The most simplified management.

Flaws

  • Very short power cord;
  • There is no lighting inside the chamber;
  • No convection and no spit;
  • Incredibly hard to remove sticker;
  • Simple design.

Our review ends with another mini-oven, sold for 4500 rubles. Unfortunately, it is much less in demand, so some of its shortcomings have not yet been identified. However, we can already say that some buyers will complain about the spaciousness. But just a few, since for many a 25-liter oven will be enough.

The power of this device is 1500 watts. This is quite enough to quickly bring the temperature inside the chamber to 230°C. The operating time of the device is set using a timer. And here lies the first drawback. The maximum you can set is 60 minutes. Is it necessary to say that this is not enough for all dishes?

Despite the low price tag, the device is able to boast of internal illumination. But this is not as surprising as a full-fledged grill. There is even a spit here! However, the meat on it cooks longer than usual. This is strange, because even convection is present here, which usually speeds up the process.

Otherwise, the device is unlikely to surprise you with anything. However, it should not cause negative emotions, which is important. The mini-oven does an excellent job of cooking buns, sausages in the dough and other baked goods. On the shoulder of her and the preparation of meat products.

If we talk about the configuration, then in this regard it is also impossible to find fault with the mini-oven. Along with it, you will receive a crumb tray, a baking sheet, a grate, a handle for removing them, a skewer and paper documentation.

Advantages

  • Very low cost;
  • Good capacity;
  • Grill and convection available;
  • There is no strong heating of the case;
  • There is interior lighting;
  • Good equipment;
  • High power;
  • The most simplified management.

Flaws

  • Not everyone will like the design;
  • The timer is designed for 60 minutes;
  • Long cooking on a spit.

Conclusion

As you may have noticed, many of the devices included in this collection have a fairly high price tag. This is due to the low prevalence of such devices. Unfortunately, often people are not even aware of the existence of mini-ovens. And low demand inevitably leads to higher prices. However, in the future, such wonderful kitchen helpers will definitely become cheaper.
