TOP 20 best quality multicookers

[ad_1]

We analyzed the multicooker market and selected the best models for 2022. For easy navigation, we divided the rating into categories.

How to choose a multicooker in terms of price / quality ratio?

  1. Multicooker type. There are three main types of these devices. They differ from each other in conditions and speed of preparation. Classic multicookers, pressure multicookers and slow cookers.
  2. Housing material. The material does not affect the taste of dishes and the capabilities of the device. Differences in design and weight — a metal multicooker looks prettier, but it is more difficult to move it around the kitchen. In addition, stainless steel is more expensive, so you can save money and buy a device with a plastic case. The main thing is not to take the cheapest models: the multicooker should not smell unpleasant, and also creak when you press and open the lid.
  3. heating type. Heating elements and induction coils are used as a heating element.
  4. Power. The average power is about 700 watts. More powerful ones allow you to cook faster. However, this largely depends on the volume of the bowl.
  5. Volume. When choosing the volume of the bowl, proceed solely from your needs.
  6. bowl material. The key element of the multicooker can be made of aluminum or stainless steel.
  7. bowl cover. The inner surface has a special non-stick coating. Such a coating can be Teflon and ceramic.
  8. Lid. It should have a strong hinge, be easy to open with one hand, and lift at least 90 degrees. The gasket around the contour should be soft and fit snugly against the body. If the inside of the steam valve cover is not removed, it will be very difficult to clean it of grease and dirt.
  9. Control Panel. Avoid models with weak displays and confusing menus. The screen should be easy to read and display as much information as possible.
  10. Modes and functions. It’s not worth chasing quantity, because the main options, such as pilaf, porridge, stewing and steaming, are everywhere. Manual mode is not available in all multicookers, so check it before buying. Of the additional functions, a start delay is useful, allowing you to lay food in the morning and cook dinner when you return home. For compotes and other cold dishes, it is useful to turn off automatic heating. The most advanced models have smartphone control, which allows you to start cooking from work or turn off the multicooker without getting up from the couch.

A relatively simple device with a laconic design, which is unlikely to impress a lover of the latest technology. Management is carried out using a control panel consisting of an LED display and a set of membrane buttons.

The interface designer decided to allocate a separate button for each program. Each button has its own LED indicator. The main display has two digital displays (for setting the time and temperature), as well as a set of icons responsible for the indication of cooking, repeat mode, mute alarms and the automatic heating function.

RMC-M252 has almost all the features found in more expensive models. You can set the time, delay the start of the program, and the automatic heating function (with the possibility of pre-shutdown), and even the “Masterchef light” function, which allows you to change the parameters of a running program during cooking, namely to set the temperature from 35 to 160 ° C in steps of 1 degree, and increase the temperature. SkyCooker M800S is a representative of a new line of home appliances prepared for Redmond. The general idea of these products is synchronization of all devices and convenient remote control from a smartphone. The touch buttons are easy to operate. “Menu” is responsible for selecting the mode, “+” and “-” — for changing the temperature or time.

A separate button allows you to select the type of product (fish, meat or vegetables) when using the programs “Frying”, “Steam” and “Stew”. There is a child lock. 48 programs and the Multicooker option (own parameters — time from 2 minutes to 15 hours and temperature from 35 to 170 degrees). If necessary, the smart multicooker will heat up the cooked food. The maximum heating time is 24 hours.

There is also the possibility of a delayed start of cooking. However, if there is a remote control from a smartphone, there is no point in this (other than planning porridge for breakfast). Without an app, it’s just a slow cooker that cooks delicious and varied food. But once you install the app on your smartphone, there are tons of possibilities. And please note: the application is available for devices with Android and iOS operating systems, it allows you to control not only the multicooker of this model, but also other smart devices from Redmond.

The application also allows you to change the program settings and, if necessary, return to the main parameters. Requires standard care: it is recommended to wipe the body and plastic parts with a damp cloth, the bowl, the deep-frying basket and plastic accessories can be washed in the dishwasher (although in most cases it is easier to wash the bowl in the sink, since nothing sticks to it).

Specifications:

  • power — 900 W;
  • voltage — 220–240 V;
  • volume — 5 liters.

Distinctive features:

  • 3D heating;
  • automatic heating — up to 24 hours;

Polaris PMC 0517AD is a device with a 5 liter ceramic bowl. It is programmed to cook dishes according to 16 recipes, among them there are such popular programs as “frying” and “baking”, which are not found in every device. This function is provided by 860 W power and 3D heating technology (food is heated from all sides).

In addition, the device provides for heating dishes and a delayed start — it can cook dinner or breakfast at the right time. Among the shortcomings, it is worth noting the coating — it turned out to be short-lived, many users complained that with frequent frying it lost its non-stick properties or cracked, so the dish had to be changed after a while. The second drawback is condensate leakage, which, according to the developers, should be collected in a special container.

Has an average power of 860 watts. Given the optimal volume of the dish, this power will be enough not only for cooking and stewing, but also for frying and baking. The device is equipped with an LCD display with bright characters and a touch panel. However, ease of use cannot be called a strong point of this model. According to user reviews, in order to select a cooking program, you need to go through the modes for a long time until you find the one you need.

It is convenient that the cooking time can be changed in any program, but the temperature is set only in the “frying” and “multi-cooker” modes. Can cook 16 automatic recipes. Separately, it is worth noting the “multi-cook” program — it allows you to set your own temperature and time values for dishes that are not in automatic programs.

SkyKitchen CB391S, released in the collection series chrome and bronze, combines a number of innovative Redmond developments for the automatic preparation of home-cooked dishes from all cuisines of the world. A feature of the Redmond Skykitchen CB391S series is the patented masterfry heating element lifting technology. This is a significant advantage over similar devices, since now several kitchen appliances can be replaced by one device.

Heat-resistant cookware can be stacked on the raised heating element (electric tubular heater). At the same time, 50 installed programs help you use the appliance instead of a stove, oven and pressure cooker. The bowl temperature can be set from 35°C to 180°C. All programs can be reset even during cooking. It can be controlled in two ways: from the panel on the multicooker itself and remotely, from a smartphone or tablet.

Manual control is carried out using 7 touch buttons, a rotary knob and an LCD display. Programs are selected with the help of the rotary knob, and with the help of the buttons, if necessary, their specification: specification of time, temperature or product. There are also cancel and start buttons, the display shows information about the selected cooking program and the remaining time until the end of the program. There are also indicators for the operation of various functions, and another unusual thing is the radio button. Before using the device for the first time, and also to eliminate the smell of food, it is recommended to treat with half a lemon on the STEAM program for 15 minutes.

It is recommended to wipe the multi-layer housing with a damp kitchen cloth or sponge and a small amount of mild detergent. The anti-splatter lid is made up of a fine mesh and collects grease droplets while the steam escapes undisturbed. The amount of spraying is not completely, but quite significantly reduced. If you need to fry something without this lid (for example, foods that require continuous stirring or frequent turning), it is recommended to protect the multicooker lid with a piece of foil. Removable aluminum lid, removable folding steam valve and condensate tank are easy to clean under running water.

Specifications:

  • power — 860 W;
  • volume — 5 l.

Distinctive features:

  • pan;
  • built-in radio tuner (FM band 76–108 MHz);
  • ready for Sky technology.

pros

  • there is a frying pan;
  • lifting heating element (heating element);
  • removable inner cover and valve;
  • bowl with handles;
  • touch screen;
  • remote control;
  • there is a radio (remembers up to 9 radio stations);
  • rich equipment.

Minuses

  • constant temperature control is required;
  • weak radio signal;
  • price range.

Intelligent mixing technology with built-in spatula works according to the selected program and ensures fully automatic cooking; this allows you to achieve the perfect taste and texture of dishes. The intelligent system allows the multicooker to select cooking parameters and automatically set the time and temperature for optimal cooking of rice, cereals and pilaf.

It also provides the effect of a traditional Russian oven — a uniform constant circulation of hot air around the bowl, which is achieved through the use of a special innovative spherical bowl, in which dishes acquire an excellent taste. Spherical cookware is positioned as reliable and durable thanks to a 6‑layer ceramic coating and a metal thickness of 2 mm.

71 programs are included in the memory: baking, steamer, frying, porridge, stewing / slow cooker, rice, cereals, jam, pizza, dumplings, defrosting, pilaf / risotto, yogurt, cottage cheese, dough, soup and manual mode. Food type can be selected from the following: vegetables, meat, fish and poultry. Automatic maintenance of temperature within 24 hours and delayed start is provided.

The keep warm function can be disabled. Removable parts can be washed in the dishwasher, but the kit includes a spatula with a rubber working edge to clean the bowl of burnt food, for which water is poured into the bowl, and later a special self-cleaning program is activated. The set includes a colorfully designed recipe book. Equipped with an indication system for ease of use. The model has a small graphic type screen. It displays important data about the operation of the device using icons and a timer. The screen is not backlit and is black and white. The model is equipped with electronic control.

Specifications:

  • dimensions — 28 x 35 x 50 cm;
  • power — 1000 W;

  • removable bowl of large volume;
  • rich equipment;
  • good ergonomics and beautiful appearance;

SkyCooker RMC-M92S is a first-class high-end device for remote cooking of your favorite dishes. No need to be in the kitchen to prepare lunch or dinner — do it on your smartphone from anywhere in the world and at any convenient time. The remote control, at first glance, may seem like a whim, but in fact it is a very convenient thing.

You can pre-lay food (those that do not spoil) and turn on cooking (or heating), for example, his arrival home. In addition, when the multicooker finishes cooking, it will send a push notification to your smartphone. In addition, you do not need to go to the multicooker every time to see how much is left before the end of the program.

There are only 4 programs in the quick launch, there are 17 in total. To find the option you need, open the full list. The purpose of the program is easy to understand by its name, so it is quite difficult to make a mistake here. After selecting a program, the application also offers to go to the settings. Basically, you just need to open a paper book and start cooking. The recipes indicate which program to install and at what time to install it. All recipes are available in the application, as well as in the book, they contain complete information about the cooking process, ingredients.

Recipes are sorted into categories, there is a selection of the time it will take to cook. The “Start” button in each recipe contains the same parameters as in the description of the preparation, and the multicooker automatically starts working according to them. There is no need to memorize the program and return to the list — just press the button. Unpretentious and does not require special care. The steam valve and inner lid are simply rinsed under running water. The multicooker bowl can be washed in the dishwasher.

Specifications:

  • dimensions — 24 x 28.5 x 37.7 cm;
  • power — 1000 W;
  • volume — 5 l.

Distinctive features:

  • cooking time setting;
  • 134 manual tuning programs;
  • smartphone remote control with Ready for Sky mobile app, device support: iOS‑8.0 or above, Android‑4.3 Jelly Bean or above;
  • ecosystem — Smart Home Yandex.

pros

  • convenient for transportation and storage;
  • multifunctional;
  • functions are divided into groups;

  • the ability to customize cooking in Masterchef Light mode;
  • cookbook for over 200 recipes;
  • steam mode;
  • addition in the form of a fryer;
  • the coating of the dishes does not allow the remnants of food to stick, it is easy to clean, it has protection against scratches.

Minuses

  • remote control requires an additional gadget or device. There is no built-in Wi-Fi reception system or Bluetooth connection, which eliminates the need for additional equipment;
  • many mobile phones cannot connect to the device even via Bluetooth 4.0, although the manufacturer has specified these minimum requirements.

The best inexpensive multicookers

In the case of rare use of the multicooker, it makes no sense to take expensive models. Budget devices can not boast rich functionality, but they perform their functions quite well. A slow cooker doesn’t have to be super functional, as many people think, but after trying some of them, the owners understand that making a choice is not so easy. Below are the best models in the budget price segment.

Baking is a program for preparing various pastries and all kinds of casseroles. Frying — frying foods with the formation of a crispy crust. When operating in this mode, the multicooker consumes more energy.

Cereals is an automatic program that allows you to cook crumbly cereal dishes by evaporating water. Smoking is the preparation of cold / hot smoked dishes with the smell of smoke. Yogurt is a program for making homemade yogurt. In this case, the device operates in the minimum temperature mode (not higher than 40 degrees). Milk porridge is an automatic program that allows you to cook a variety of porridges with milk. At the same time, you don’t have to worry about the milk “running away”.

A convenient option for a delayed start: in the evening you can lay out all the products, and in the morning the slow cooker will cook fresh hot porridge. Pasta — cooking noodles and pasta. After cooking the product, the optimal cooking time is set manually. Multicooker — the ability to set the desired temperature and cooking time directly in the workflow. On the body of the device there is a display with 14 automatic programs displayed on it. On the sides of the display are 8 control buttons: start, cancel, delayed start, menu, temperature setting, time setting (hours and minutes separately), my recipe +. To run standard programs, you need to press the “menu” button and go through all the programs in order.

To create your own program with a unique time and temperature, you need to press “my recipe +” and use the “t”, “H” and “min” buttons to set the desired time and temperature. The procedure for setting all parameters is described in detail in the instructions. When setting, keep in mind that there is no reverse step, the temperature and time are set only in the direction of increase. If you missed the desired value, you need to click on the circle.

The Polaris IQ Home app is used for remote control. The addition process is fast. It will then be displayed in a list on the main screen. TEFAL Multicooker pressure cooker Tefal TURBO CUISINE CY753832 — advanced technology. Cook 3 times faster and taste better. Makes cooking a real pleasure. Equipped with an exclusive spherical bowl. Easy to use: it is operated with just one button and the lid can be washed under running water.

The case is made of black matte plastic, very pleasant to the touch. The design as a whole is concise and strict, not a single superfluous detail. The control panel has four buttons (start/stop, timer, cooking temperature and a delayed start button), a rotary knob for switching between modes and a fairly large screen that shows the cooking phase and available modes.

Many dishes can be cooked under pressure, which reduces the cooking time by several times. The manufacturer claims that it turns out three times faster than just on a stove, gas or electric. An unusual spherical bowl was chosen for a reason, visually it resembles ancient Russian cast-iron pots.

The spherical shape makes the air inside constantly circulate, so the dishes not only reach readiness much faster, but also turn out to be very tender and juicy, just like from the oven. The bowl itself is made of a special alloy with a very high thermal conductivity and a durable non-stick coating, so even porridge that is a little burnt is washed off without much effort. The process is as automated as possible and practically does not require presence.

Specifications:

REDMOND RMC-P350

Functionality

Customer Reviews

Editorial score

one

This is a new high-tech style model that includes a wide range of functions of a modern multicooker and an ultra-fast pressure cooker with various functions. The P350 multi-cooker attracts attention with its ergonomics, high-tech appearance and a set of useful settings: automatic heating, preheating, delayed start and pre-shut off automatic heating.

The non-volatile memory, the ability to change the pressure level, the removable steam valve and the rotary joystick give the device a special value. P350 has 14 automatic cooking programs and a capacious 5‑liter bowl with Daikin (Japan) environmentally friendly non-stick coating. Half of them are directly related to the cooking process, the rest switch their work to the “pressure cooker”.

The parameters of each of the programs are set in the database by default, and the owner can change them independently. As a rule, this is necessary to achieve the best effect when cooking. If you need to set up a personal program for a device such as the Redmond RMC-P350 in accordance with a recipe, this will not cause much difficulty.

Automatic heating (12 hours). Delayed start (programming the multicooker to start a certain mode at the right time, the start is calculated for the next 24 hours). It will be enough to load all the necessary ingredients in advance, and at the right time the dish will be prepared independently.

Specifications:

  • dimensions — 32 x 28 x 30.5 cm;
  • power — 900 W;
  • volume — 5 l.

Distinctive features:

  • DAIKIN non-stick coating.

pros

  • stylish, looks beautiful;
  • pressure cooker function, 3 pressure settings;
  • completely removable cover;
  • two valves;
  • good non-stick coating;
  • pre-heating.

Minuses

  • inconvenient hybrid control system.

Which company to choose a multicooker?

Models are produced by many large companies: Redmond, Tefal, Moulinex, Polaris, Philips and others. In addition, each company has decent devices at reasonable prices, and there are not very successful copies. Therefore, when choosing a multicooker, it is better to pay attention not to the brand, but to the reviews of other customers, functionality, cost and our advice.

Which bowl is best?

A wide range of products on the market makes you wonder which multicooker bowl is best. Of the most popular bowls for multicookers, it is worth noting the following devices:

  • with teflon coating;
  • with ceramic coating;
  • uncoated bowls.

If you want to have a universal option, then it is better to choose Teflon. It is suitable for all kinds of food. Such a dish will last for several years if you handle the dishes carefully. If you want versatility and do not want to overpay, choose the steel option. Such dishes can be used as an independent dish. Devices with a stainless steel bowl are much cheaper. Ceramic bowls are the most expensive, but at the same time the safest. Many models of multicookers provide for the possibility of using removable bowls. Thus, you can buy other options with different coatings and use them as needed.

Air grill or slow cooker — which is better?

It is impossible to categorically answer the question of what is better to choose, because it depends on the personal preferences of each. If you prefer fragrant dishes baked in your own juice under the influence of hot air, choose an air grill. If you want to cook many dishes using one device, it is better to buy a multi-cooker with wide functionality.

Airfryer Advantages:

  • juiciness of food;
  • tightness so that the smell from the kitchen does not spread throughout the apartment;
  • the possibility of using dishes made of metal, ceramics, glass, with the exception of plastic and wood.

Airfryer Disadvantages:

  • the need for a stand for the device to prevent damage to the table surface;
  • some difficulties arise in the process of washing the device.

Advantages of the multicooker:

  • universality;
  • space saving;
  • convenient automatic shutdown function, temperature maintenance, delayed start;
  • there is no need to constantly monitor the process;
  • easy to use and maintain.

Disadvantages of a multicooker:

  • cooking some dishes takes longer than on a gas stove;
  • during operation, it is necessary to handle the bowl carefully so as not to damage its surface;
  • strict adherence to the prescription;
  • risk of damage to the device in case of mains voltage fluctuations.

Having familiarized yourself with the characteristics of the units, it will be easier to choose a device that will help you prepare healthy, tasty dishes and reduce cooking time.

Pressure cooker or slow cooker — which is better?

The pressure cooker is suitable for those who prefer boiling and stewing to other cooking methods, who want to eat healthy and tasty, and who also want to minimize cooking time.

What you need to know about pressure cookers and multicookers:

  • These household appliances save time and also allow you to make the cooking process as comfortable as possible.
  • A slow cooker replaces many kitchen appliances: a double boiler, a yogurt maker, a water oven, a mini-oven. Cooking time will be reduced, but this process will be comfortable thanks to the temperature control function, various automatic programs and the delayed start function.
  • The pressure cooker allows you to save cooking time by 70%, while retaining its beneficial properties, natural taste, color and texture as much as possible.
  • A pressure cooker can be stored with kitchen utensils, while a slow cooker needs a separate place in a cupboard or countertop.
  • The service life of the multicooker is on average 3–5 years, and the non-stick bowl will have to be changed every 1–1.5 years. Silicone gaskets must also be replaced. A pressure cooker made of aluminum or stainless steel, with proper care, can last ten years, it is enough to periodically change the silicone gaskets and valves.

Multicooker or multicooker?

A multi-furnace is a convection electrical appliance, which, according to the principle of operation, resembles an air grill. Food is cooked by circulating hot air inside the bowl. The food is heated from all sides and cooked evenly, almost without the use of oil. A multicooker is a multifunctional household appliance for automatic or semi-automatic cooking. The appliance uses several different cooking methods. In a slow cooker, you can fry, stew, bake or reheat ready-made meals. The heating element of the multicooker is located at the bottom. The lid of the device is hermetically sealed so that the same temperature is maintained inside the bowl.

When choosing between a multicooker and a multicooker, you need to decide on the purpose of the device. For baking and frying, a convection multicooker with a small number of programs is more suitable. If you want to cook first courses, prepare side dishes and snacks, then you should purchase a slow cooker that will help you easily experiment with new recipes.
