Why do we need toner?

Korean multi-step skin care system is becoming more and more popular. Many girls notice that when using the cleansing — toning — moisturizing — protection scheme, the skin gets better day by day. And this is not surprising: this approach includes almost all the procedures necessary to maintain the skin in perfect condition.

Today we will talk about the second step of care — about toning. In Korean care, toners are responsible for this stage.

They are somewhat different from the tonics we are used to:

Consistency — they are usually thicker, gel or oily;

composition — they usually do not contain alcohol;

action — initially, toners were invented solely to restore the skin’s hydrobalance after the washing stage, that is, the main action is moisturizing.

So why do we need toner?

Firstly, in the process of cleansing the skin, its pH shifts towards an alkaline reaction. This is due to a violation of the lipid barrier. Dry skin in this case begins to peel off, itch, there is a feeling of tightness and dryness. Oily skin, on the contrary, begins to react with increased secretion of sebum, which leads to inflammation, irritation and acne. To prevent this from happening, toners were invented, which, thanks to their special formula, restore the acid-base balance of the skin, helping it quickly return to normal.

Secondly, toners include ingredients such as hyaluronic acid, aloe vera, glycerin. They help the skin not only instantly moisturize, but retain this moisture in the deep layers of the skin.

Thirdly, Well-moisturized skin is much better at following care. All kinds of active ingredients in emulsions, serums, serums and creams penetrate deeper and more easily after exposure to the skin with toner.

Fourth, Recently, toners for special care «on the problem» have appeared on the Korean market:

mattifying — usually designed for oily skin and help it regulate the production of sebum during the day;

exfoliating — they work with dead skin cells, removing them from the surface of the skin and acting as a light peeling;

antioxidant — contain active ingredients that contribute to anti-aging protection;

Whitening — work with pigmentation and post-acne.

Some toners are so rich in composition that they help to cope with not one of these, but several problems. This toner will be discussed below.

Nature Solution Hydrating Bamboo Water by The Plant Base.

It contains bamboo extract (86%), argan oil, olive oil, bergamot oil and many other oils and extracts.

Due to its extensive composition, the product has moisturizing, antibacterial, anti-inflammatory and antioxidant effects. Toner helps restore and protect the skin barrier, moisturize the skin and nourish it with beneficial substances.

The toner is a two-phase agent and must be shaken before use to mix both phases together. However, while it has a light non-greasy texture, the oils are not felt at all. Apply the toner to the skin with your fingers. It is quickly absorbed without stickiness and films, leaving behind well-moisturized skin, ready for further care.

Also, this method can be used in the 7 layer method. The method consists in the fact that the toner is applied to the skin sequentially seven times at short intervals, sufficient for the complete absorption of the previous layer. As a result of this method of use, the skin becomes much softer and more hydrated. For dry skin, it can be used regularly, for oily — no more than once a week, so as not to overload it.

Nature Solution Hydrating Bamboo Water Toner is an excellent moisturizer that will solve problems for any skin type at any time of the year.
