TOP 7 smallest dishwashers

[ad_1]

one

A dishwasher is a dream for those who live in a one-room studio apartment or live in small Khrushchev apartments.

Appliance manufacturers have made a dream come true and invented small dishwasher models that can be easily built into furniture, under the sink or simply placed on the table.

Surprisingly, the compact size of the devices did not prevent manufacturers from including all the functions and modes necessary for cleaning dishes in their machines.

The smallest dishwasher

At the moment, the “smallest dishwasher” is Candy CDCF 6. The device has an optimal size — 55 * 50 * 44 cm.

The model is universal, it can be placed on the work surface, built into the furniture or under the sink.

Despite its compactness, the dishwasher is multifunctional, has an indication of salt and rinse aid, and includes up to 6 sets of dishes. The device has an A‑class drying and washing, has various cleaning programs.

Types of mini dishwashers

Compact dishwashers can hold a large amount of dishes, and all due to the fact that such devices are made quite high. Dishwashers are similar in width and depth to microwave ovens.

Small devices are divided into:

  • Embedded. Models are designed for 6 sets of cutlery, cups, saucers and plates. The machine can be built in completely or partially, that is, located in the cabinets of the kitchen set or under the sink. The latter option provides quick access to the water supply and provides simple connection and drain equipment.
  • Stand alone. Such products are easy to move around the countertop or table, change the location. Installation of the device is very simple: just connect all the water supply and drain hoses.

How to choose and what to look for?

capacity

Despite the fact that there are models with a width of 30 cm, they are very difficult to find on sale. But such products are suitable only for single people.

A much more popular technique with a width of 50–55 cm and a height of 50–60 cm — it does not take up much space, but is able to serve the whole family, containing as many as 8–9 sets of dishes.

In addition, a small dishwasher can be installed under the sink or in the cabinet (but in this case it is important to calculate every centimeter).

3

Cleaning class

You should not choose a small dishwasher with cleaning class B and C, as you will be unhappy with the cleaning result. Class — A (preferably with a “+” sign — this is premium) — the best option for washing your dishes.

Water consumption

Each user of household appliances is interested in saving on natural resources. Water consumption for 1 washing mode can be in the range from 6 to 8 liters.

If you use your dishwasher every day, this can be quite a significant number. However, it is worth noting that washing dishes in the device saves water much more than when washing dishes by hand.

Types of drying

There are three types of drying:

  • Turbo — drying is done with hot air;
  • Fans — blow air from the outside;
  • Condensation — the most common and convenient, is to evaporate moisture.

Operating modes (cleaning)

Usually a mini-dishwasher includes all the standard modes that are also found in large-sized devices:

  • Basic wash — thanks to heating of water up to 65 degrees, all pollution is washed off in 90 minutes.
  • Express Mode - in half an hour at 45 degrees, it will wash off small traces of food.
  • Economical — the water heats up only up to 50 degrees, but the washing time increases.
  • Intensive - the mode is good for cleaning from strong dirt and grease, it lasts about 2 hours.
  • Auto — the machine itself determines the level of pollution and selects the best program and water temperature for cleaning.

Noise level

Small dishwashers can have both high and low noise levels.

The best option is a device with a noise level of 40–42 dB. However, such quiet models are much more expensive.

Leak protection

Unfortunately, not all models of small dishwashers have the Aquastop function, which is a water filling control sensor.

To avoid unpleasant situations, it is better to give preference to devices that have this system in their arsenal.
